As many have heard, the Carr Fire originated by a driver with a flat tire causing a spark and igniting the fire in whiskey-town national park wild fire. The fire grew rapidly because of our excessively dry and hot weather.  In just a few days time, the wire as evacuated over 30 thousand residents, more have fled the city because of smoke.  536 structures confirmed destroyed and even more damaged.  Additionally, deaths include 7people that we know of.   The Photos below are images I captured while helping friends and family evacuate.  The data about these fires in the first 3 days was so limited, me and a network of others continually surveyed the landscape and reported back.

As i captured these images, it was a sobering moment.  I want to make clear that i strive to capture the reality and emotion as well as the information of these events. I tried to steer clear of dramatizing and being disingenuous.
